  6.      Patch v2.1 is distributed under the GNU General Public License. For
  7. further details read the file "COPYING", included in this archive.

  9.      This port is based on the latest UNIX patch by Larry Wall
  10. <lwall@netlabs.com>, which I could compile nearly without change, thanks to
  11. SAS's great standard library, but I had to change or delete a few things to
  12. make it work real smooth. I had to throw RCS-support out, for example, and
  13. had to change most of the filehandling routines.

  15.      If you want to compile this yourself, you may contact me under Peter
  16. Simons <simons@peti.GUN.de> for the sources or FTP the original archive
  17. somewhere. Then simply unpack them, change into the directory and execute
  18. "patch <Diffs". Voilà!
